Yes. Although, when Wiseman went to Golden State, I started leaning more toward him. I think they’ll develop him better than Minnesota might develop Edwards. Yeah going to Warriors increased Wiseman's stock. That is the only reason I would want to draft him. Before that I was pretty low on him as a prospect

Problem is it won't happen next year - Detroit is going to be awful again but the D720 version is gonna be in the finals

I think last year someone didn't realize it, so reminder that now the time for each pick is only 12hrs. Only top-5 had two days.

Thanks for the generous trade offers. A couple were genuinely interesting. However, the New York Knicks have decided to draft . . . Patrick Williams Brian Scalabrine

I do know who I want, but am in talks for acquiring subsequent picks. With that in mind, I'm going to run the clock a bit before making my selection.

With the 9th pick, we'll take the switchable, rangy defender with the nice jumper... A guy who shouldn't be on the board at all right now, Devin Vassell. Already has the tools to be a 3&D piece day one, and with an underrated handle that gives him the tools to be an offensive creator for himself and others. A mature guy who is a great fit for me team, both now and long-term.

Thanks Brian, Vassell is a great pick, but I'm thrilled to be able to select Tyrese Haliburton out of Iowa State University. Love that he's a high efficiency, big guard with long arms that has the versatility to play on and off the ball, an ideal backcourt partner with SGA.
Lock this guy in as a day one positive on both ends of the floor as well--besides be a disruptive hustle guy on the defensive end, he's a high level passer. Not super flashy with the passing, but always making the right moves. Can stand to add some weight to his frame, but long term he's a combo guard that can shoot off the pull-up from deep range or the catch, run in transition, grab boards and make plays on D.

I would have taken him at 5. Wanted him to come out for the draft last year where he could have fallen out of the lottery. Thrilled to have him on board.
