100% no chance the dude GMing LAC at the time drafts MPJ there if we weren’t actively working on that deal. And even at that, if the cap space opened in that deal hadn’t been used on garbage it would have been a pretty favorable position to start a rebuild from... just unfortunate that the post-trade decision making played out like it did from your perspective.

Wow, looks like that trade had 5 rejects before 5 accepts lmao Just looked through again and I’m pretty sure it was still 5-4 after 9 votes. Just too many flip flops in there to easily keep track.

I don't want to say it out load but I think it is far from a lock that Davis will re-sign with the Lakers. I mean, he probably will and his agent is Rich Paul but team is not exactly clicking right now. And with team being mostly old they are supposed to be as good as they can be so if they don't do good during Playoffs I could see that as a problem.

If there would be some interesting FA destinations with a lot cap space, I could see it happening. I guess Miami is the best one that could make some moves to open up max slot and have a good team But as for now it seems like Hawks, Knicks, Pistons and Charlotte are the teams with most space. AD with Trey Young in Hawks would be really interesting, but don't see that happening unless he has some family connection. And Knicks are just too trash even for the market appeal.

Haven't checked Warriors financial situation but with them having a top pick in the upcoming Draft they should have the resources to create enough cap space.

If I were AD, I’d try and get my ring, and nope the fuck out. Their window is one, maybe two years tops.

Yes. Maybe it was an excuse but winning was his original and only reason to request for a trade away from Pelicans. So, the way I see if Lakers don't do good this Playoffs and with them being the best they can be right now then he will join elsewhere if he thinks he can do better with that other team. But if all teams available with cap space are not that good he probably will re-sign with Lakers either way.

They have around only $45-47M (I think?) attached to Butler, Adebayo, Herro, Nunn and Robinson so if you add Davis to that group they could be really competitive right away. They also have some guys like Olynyk although I suppose they would move him to create some extra cap space.

Timberwolves won #1. Edwards be like Anthony Edwards vs Andrew Wiggins entering the league. Who you pick? Probably Wiggins? Makes you wonder if he would be better now if he landed elsewhere.

Unless he wants to completely change his coaching philosophy Actually, I read before that an Embiid trade could be possible and that 76ers are interested in changing their style so that's probably part of it although I suppose it would get down to what they can actually get in a trade, lol.
Then again, Brand publicly said they would not trade Embiid or Simmons but if he said he wanted to trade Embiid then his value would go down so you never know, lololol.

I’m more interested with how Steve Nash will do with the Nets. And now I am contemplating about trading LeVert.

the Clippers traded more first round picks (5) for Paul George than field goals he had tonight (4).

And Leonard left the Raptors just so they would both lose in a Game 7 of the Conference Semi Finals.
