With the 45th pick, the Spurs select Pascal Siakam. 45th! He was picked 27th in real life and somehow dropped to 45th in d720 🤔

He was a 22 year old junior who was still raw from a skill standpoint. Anyone who says they saw him becoming what he is now is lying or delusional.

He was a 22 year old junior who was still raw from a skill standpoint. Anyone who says they saw him becoming what he is now is lying or delusional. Lol, yeah. It is impossible to know with these guys sometimes because they are all are capable athletes or skilled players or whatever but then, things happen that might take them on one direction or another. For instances, You often see a team drafting a player on a position they don't need for a coach that doesn't like that sort of player. Then, it is not rare for that player to ride the bench for his entire rookie contract draining all his potential. Also, there are teams that care enough to develop young players even if they don't play like Raptors had this thing going on with their D-League team that helped them develop some of their current main contributors. I mean, lots of teams send players to the d-leagues but not many actually care about what is going on in there. I wont pretend like I follow the g-league because I usually don't (lol) but it is a known fact Jerry Stackhouse had something solid going on with the Raptors 905. www.sportsnet.ca/basketball/nba/raptors-905-grind-prepared-vanvleet-siakam-nba-finals/

That was my first ever pick in 720. I joined the day after the Spurs selected Taurean Prince.
