Meh, in a vacuum of course you’re right. Unfortunately it’s not in a vacuum and even if the Warriors managed to repeat with that trade in place (far from guaranteed), keeping a GM around long-term when their team hemorrhages elite players because - by no fault of their own - they’re too far into the luxury tax to pay anyone... that will probably be worse for the league than a handicapped Warriors team making a shorter playoff run but having a real shot at (more or less) running it back next year thanks to dropping some salary. Ya but if a team is willing to offer a beasley type player and expirings... That solves both no all there problems. You get under the hard cap, and get a young piece or two that can still contribute for the playoffs and for the future. Its just the fact no announcement was made that we had a temporary GSW gm and they were looking to unload. It was just all of a sudden made and the deals where just horrible and doubt kong if he was the actual gm would have accepted his own deals. Should have been more of a bidding war then just dump good players for nothing. Anyway let me stop it pisses me off how that was considered a good move and no other gms were even talked to about unload gsw salaries, but i get it as not being the true gm and having ties to another team it would be easy to accept those trades especially if they might have to face them in the playoffs. Ya ya im a bad person i lied to get my team back i know that's where this is going so my opinion doesn't count anyway, but no matter how "bad" I am it still doesn't change the facts. I guess this doesn’t count as meddling with other people’s team, isn’t it? Penny Hardaway
