to be honest, I don't see this as enough return for Lillard. Philly will only be getting, of value, Kuzma (who's been balling right now) and that trade swap (highly doubt Philly or Minny will be lotto teams). Whiteside is lazy af and headache-inducing, not worth that contract. Gerald Green is old and JaMychal who?

Lol Billy told me it’d take Tobias Harris, Levert, and picks to get Lillard. I hope this league doesn’t get belligerent with trades just because of the rule change becuse this is comedy.

Since I'm the commish and I normally veto trades, and I've negotiated this deal we'll have to use the regular voting system to approve the deal

you can go bonkers if we disagree with this trade, it's clear as day that this ain't enough for Dame. too easy for Dame

My valuations here:
Dame >>>>>>>> Kuzma > Whiteside > McGee > everything else.
Don’t see how this could possibly even out. Whiteside still has to prove he’s not gonna get his starting job taken long term by Bam before he has any legitimate trade value considering his contract is up there.
Frankly, just still not a big fan of the commissioner making trades with available teams. An absolute slam dunk of a deal is one thing, but any trade that isn’t just, like, abundantly obvious that any sane GM would say yes it just doesn’t make sense to handle it any way other than to let the team be and allow someone to come in and manage the team to their liking.
It’s not like Lillard is in any danger of leaving soon. He has three years left on his deal. You gotta worry about James Harden bolting, but I don’t think it’s all that realistic to expect a Lillard trade to turn around Philly’s fortunes enough to change his mind if he wants to leave, and if he leaves anyway you’d rather still have Lillard than Whiteside/Kuzma and some scrubs.
Anyway, just my two cents. Not gonna vote on this unless I really need to.

We all spend time on trades. Spending mildly significant amounts of time digging for trades doesn’t mean you worked your ass off, and getting those trades vetoed does not mean the league has slighted you.

I'm rejecting this. Sorry to be that guy but whiteside bat 30 mil a year is bad. He's clearly not whonthe grate ant long term and all the other stuff minus Kuzma is blah. Kuzma is the man but no way he comes close to as good as dame. He is a top 20 guy in the league who scored 25 a night

I don't think it's a problem that Billy makes moves as interim. It might take a while that they get long term GM and I they really need to make moves to get better and convince Harden to stay. And it's not likely that a new GM will be able to find the slamdunk trade either right away. Based on the history, new GM's often make one or two value losing trades before they get hang of it.
Currently having all three Dame, Harden and Fox is redundant. Fox is emerging as new star, you don't want to trade him unless you get an all-star level big guy in return (not likely). Dame is great, but the team really needs more a good PF and center imo. Fox, Harden, Bazemore, Kuzma, Whiteside lineup should work really well together. And they have decent bench also with Green, Nance, Zeller, TT, Galloway and Satoransky (just need another wing maybe).
IRL I hate Whiteside and his lazy ass, but there is no lazy attribute in the sim so it doesn't matter. As long as his putting up his numbers (and advanced stats), which he has been doing, he is gonna have a one of the top defensive center builds. Maybe the last year of the contract will be really bad, but this and most likely next year, he should give out some value.
So I think fit-wise this will make Philly a better team, but since Dame is still locked in for many years, it should be possible to get more. I would love to see some picks there to even the value. But even if this is not great, is there a better deal from another team available? then why they haven't offered it yet?
It's easy to say that there are teams that will offer more. Generally it's pretty hard to find any moves in this league since half of the teams are tanking and building through draft. They don't want to give up their assets even for a superstar like Dame, because that will just get them to the middle of the pack, where they can't get good picks or be good enough to win in playoffs.

Maybe i miss understood something but i made the trade with washington bc i was making this trade with philly thinkin their was no veto system! Now if this trade doesnt go through im screwed and that shit is wrong
I didnt even want to give up whiteside in this but this is the deal bk asked for and he didnt budge except mcgee
He put Lillard otb, i responded and we made a deal! Its not my fault philly cant keep a gm, or that the commish is trading with open teams. He asked for these players, i gave him the deal end of story And im sorry dame is not worth more and if my team keeps playing like shit philly will get a good pick! And if dame is worth more let me here the team willing to give it up!!!! Whiteside starting center who produces weather you guys like it or not and irl is having a good season. Kuzma is a great young player, j.green is a solid bench player, and g.green is what he is plus a pick swap That is more than enough

I'd give up multiple firsts Fultz Jabari and some minor prospects which is around the value your giving up. I don't think that would be acceptable tho imo.

He’s probably a better player in real life than he is in the sim. Whiteside is good, but his situation in Miami is still inconsistent, and quite frankly, your package is laughable considering you’re trading for a top 15 player...

76ers are 2nd in the East. If they keep this up, their odds of re-signing Harden to the very max 6 years deal should be good.
"Shake and Bake". Those are Harden and Lillard right now for Philly.
Not going to comment on the trade. Just sharing some thoughts.

Not going to comment on the trade. Just sharing some thoughts. Didn’t even realize they were doing well under this new sim system, they’re on pace to easily do enough to keep Harden. Trading Lillard at this point would be a huge mistake.

Philly has a title shot right now. 0% chance a real life team would make this move. Getting nothing in return. Harden is having another MVP season and Lillard is in the same sentence as Curry and Westbrook in terms of PGs. This is a hard reject

Reject this is not even close to the right return for Lillard. Whiteside contract is negative. All other assets are middling at best
