I know new gms cant technically make trades until after a week of service, but this trade is gonna be queued anyways due to some of the players involved in this trade being resigned last season. I like the combination of Klay, Smart, and Bryant more than Beal, WCS, Warren both now and long term, and with my amnesty I’ll be able to retain Klay with his Birds rights.

Who needs perimeter defense anyways... I’m not sure if it’s as necessarily as one one think. 76ers and Golden State are both the best teams in their respective conferences and they don’t exactly have a plethora of world class defenders.

Nino Brown You need to wait at least 4 more days before you can trade.

That shouldnt matter since the trade is queued, He seems plenty capable of running a team as well so it shouldnt be a big deal!

but If rules are rules Minny and I could shelve it until Wednesday Yeah, that would be for the best. You seem competent but we have the 7 days rule because of previous experiences. Can't remember who it was but one time there was a new GM who made 1 good trade in his 1st day or so and then, when nuts with bad trades in that same week and he was already gone the 2nd week. :suspicious: Think he was gone though because some of those trades were rejected.

Different how? He is deciding on something that will be with him after the 7 days before the 7 days if he goes past the 7 days.
Not saying it is this case but usually when a new GM posts a trade in his first 2 days it is usually a trade that the other GM has been waiting to do with that team for some time.

The point is that beal and all of clevelands players aren't spoken for for a week, because the new gm hasn't had a chance to talk to everyone yet, he's just gotten spammed by KG and maybe a few others. the accept doesn't count and this gets moved to rejected. if he wants to accept it still at the end of the week, he can.

I just prefer this trade to the ones discussed at this point.

Yeah, seems like the trade heavily favours MIN. Beal > Klay (he's on a 1 year deal + 3 yrs older, you can say he's been better this season) Warren = Smart (Around the same value, but there aren't too many good wing players in the sim) Willie Cauley Stein >> Thomas Bryant (CLE might've done this trade to avoid having to pay him this summer, but they're getting Klay back who expires?) Also the fact that CLE are taking on multi-year dead contracts in this trade, especially that Young contract, baffles me.

Under the new rule set for posting trades, maybe commenting on other gms trades is a bit unnecessary at this point. It’s either rejected by Billy or accepted. If Gms aren’t required to disclose their direction of thoughts for strategic purposes, I don’t see how it’d be fair for opposing gms to have full on discussions about why a particular trade is or isn’t good for an opposing team.

I know he’s older but I value an elite 3 and D over a guy that’s strictly good at offense anyway. It’s not like Klay relies on athleticism so his skillset should allow him to be effective well into and throughout his next contract. Not to mention Beal will probably opt out of his contract anyways after next he’s anyways. Giannis, Klay, Rudy Gay, SloMo, Robinson > Tj Warren(he’s expendable) and Smart would give me a nice backup point guard which this team doesn’t have WCS > Bryant sure, but if you’ve watched Thomas Bryant there is real potential there, he has range, and he can shoot free throws along with being pretty good at the traditional stuff bigs are good at. One of the dead contracts expires next offseason and the other the following season. The only one I’d be responsible for long term is the one stretched out over 6 entire years.

Yeah I see what you're getting at now, though you probably should of suggested on taking on Nene/Udoh/Jefferson instead of getting that 6 year dead contract.
