Dynasty 720's Trading Regulations.
Keep all trade offers and negotiations limited to Private Messages (PMs) between teams.
If you are over the cap after a trade, your incoming salaries must not exceed 125% of your outgoing salaries.
If neither team exceeds the salary cap after a trade, then there is no salary-similarity rule.
No team must exceed more than 15 players in their lineup. If a trade means that a team does exceed this limit, they must first release a player before the deal can be completed.
Trading of draft picks is allowed up to a maximum of four years in the future. First round picks may not be traded in consecutive years.
Whether a trade is fair or not, the result of teams collusional activity or whether a trade is a simple act of dumping players will be decided by the League Commissioner and subjected to their approval/disapproval.
Free Agents signed during Off Season Free Agency cannot be traded Day 25 of the regular season following their signing.
GMs cannot change their mind about a trade once they've posted the trade thread or replied with an acceptance.
You may trade up to 100,000 Billy Bucks in a single deal.
Trade Deadlines.
The Trading Deadline is not half-way through the season, like the NBA.
(In-Game Date) Day 65: Only teams who have not qualified for the playoffs may trade after this date.
(In-Game Date) Day 75: Trade Deadline for all players with expiring contracts. No expiring players can be traded. This does not include dead money contracts or QOs.
Playoff Elimination: Non-expiring trading resumes, however contracts do not roll over until the beginning of free agency.
New GMs.
New GMs must wait a week after being inducted into the league before submitting any trades.
Dynasty 720 is a league which requires patience and rewards planning. Too often new GMs enter the league and trade away assets that have taken a long time to acquire, a week of induction gives new GMs the time to consider multiple trade requests and take stock of their situation before making any decisions.
