I accept. I know this is ridiculous because I was trying to unload AAA for literally anything this offseason, but here's how I look at it: Bargs is the odd big man out in my rotation, because he's a not as good Marreese Speights. Right now I think my second unit is rolling Josh Smith at SF because I have so many big men, which I don't like because I want him as a PF. Afer this trade, I'd have a very cohesive second unit in DJ Augustin/AAA/Ginobili/J-Smoove/Speights. Then I have Amare and CJ Watson and LRMAM behind that. That is sexy. I find it unlikely that I can flip Bargs for a player better than AAA without having to trade someone better than Bargs as well. With his contract being a bit of a hot potato, I'm okay with ditching the first for an upgraded and more functional second unit. Plus I get rid of these waived contracts. It's a bummer to lose Ajinca, but he's not young and not going to get time on this roster. I think Montero is a good project but his contract will be annoying if/when he flames out, and he's obviously not getting time on my roster either.
So, I accept. Welcome back, AAA!
