Current Rating: 42 Below the minimum rating, so obviously deserves an upgrade. He's started every game for one of the top teams in the NBA. His closest comp is Luc Mbah a Moute (59). Above average eFG% of .503 (compared to .496 average). REB% of 10.6 around average (10% is average). Solid STL% of 2.1 (average around 1.6). Solid BLK% of 1.8 (1.1). Should be a rotation guy.

Shoo. His per36 is straight up terrible though... 7.3-5.5 as per36 numbers?
Of course, I see who he is surrounded by, but he should be contributing SOMEWHERE. Can't say I've watched him much though, I despise OKC.

I think his contribution is mostly as a wing defender, which doesn't really show up in box score stats. The one box score stat that hints at it: 1.5 STL/36, compared to median of 1.1.
And yea, his usage is super low, as expected on OKC. 10% of the 100% split between the 5 players on the floor. Min 250 min., only Cunningham, Gee and Prince are lower.

Yeah, unfortunately the easy to access advanced stats show his defensive rating is below average, though he does have a +.8 DBPM. But, we can assume his defense is better than Waiters :D I might sit this vote out. One of the few players where I don't even think I've ever seen him play.

Which easy to access advanced stats? .63 DRPM is 5th among SGs. 50th in DRtg among guards (as determined by BRef) with 250+ min. The .8 DBPM is 17th in the same reference class. 12th among SFs (he's mis-classed) in Nylon Calculus' Rim Protection stats.
What you're seeing might just be an artifact of the fact that guards don't really impact team defense all that much.
