Current Rating: 73 This is way too high for a big man on decline, who just doesn't have the same game anymore. He's averaging 8.9 ppg and 7.9 rbg, which is significantly lower than the numbers he put up last year.

Keep in mind his role has changed in the offense, and he has changed positions... Alridge does most of the inside scoring now leaving Timmy to just focus on defense...
and damn, has he focused on defense.
He's a top 10 rim protector in the league. No matter how you look at it, in opponetnt FG% vs his contested shot, to points saved per 36, here is the top 10 list for points saved at the rim this year:
Ibaka Ezeli Gobert Whiteside Millsap Duncan
He's good. Really good.
However, clearly, he isn't a 73 anymore. But don't let the stats fool you into thinking he wouldn't start on almost any team in the league, because he would.

According to basketball-reference.com he leads the league in Defensive Box +/-
So, in short, yes he could be dropped a few points, but this will allow the RC to open this guy up and fix his build to more properly align with the player he has become.

I don't wanna be biased because he's my player but I stil think he's at least a 70 overall. He doesn't rely on athleticism so age is barely effecting him . He's a very good Tim protector and he's still solid on offense when he gets the ball. He's obviously not a 73 but he's at least a 70

oh i dont doubt the prowess of duncan and i love and respect him as a player, i just dont think he deserves anything close to a 73.
i agree he has switched roles but his defense has always been there since the beginning, and the reason why we are noting it now is bc other parts of his game have fallen off.
im just watching him right now and he doesnt look like the same timmy. he looks a step slower compared to the timmy that made a championship run only two years ago and is on the verge of retiring any minute.
