I accept. With the upcoming offseason where I have to re-sign KD to a max contract and fill Horford's roster spot, I can't also handle paying Barnes his RFA market value prior to the UFA market opening up. Hence, I'm sending him off for a nice, though worse, piece with a longer contract in Cov. He also fits my roster better as a true SG. Mike Scott is added in to make salary work, and he will be immediately dropped upon the transaction's acceptance. That essentially makes the first couple years of Cov's contract $4.3m each, which I'm ok with. DJ Jazzy Jeff

I accept.
Barnes provides a huge spark off the bench or even in the starting lineup for me. He is an upgrade over Cov and I am happy to give away that Mike Scott contract. Now lets go bring a 'ship to UTAW

Pass. Not the best return for Barnes but I understand that knocks are in a tough position for ufa next year.

Wow, this is a good deal for Utah! He can think me for trading for Covington! :)

Great move for UTA, and I understand it for NYK as well. However, I believe the rule for roster spots is that you cannot exceed 15 at ANY time, even for a moment (fact check, billy @claybennet ?) So NYK has to drop someone before this move. Also, should we consider adding roster spots before and after to requirements for posting trades? I know we've talked about the TC being more vigilant about spotting that stuff, and it's not much work to add it for GMs.

You're right. Conditional on TC acceptance, I'll drop Roberson.

Actually, scratch that. I'll drop Plumlee. Unless..
FIRE SALE on Miles Plumlee! If you want Plumlee (60), including his RFA status this offseason, send me some second round picks. An RFA match garners Bird's Rights too.
