My team as presently constructed isn't going anywhere deep in the playoffs this year, if I even make it. I like Myles Turner a lot, and get a few other possibly interesting young guys and another pick in the draft. I can always flip young guys for other pieces if I want. This'll also probably improve my own 1st rounder this year. Justin Timberlake

I accept. I am attempting to make a playoff run this year. This move gives me a great veteran on a reasonable contract to add some depth, 3 point shooting and more perimeter defense. Also get a decent prospect to have next year when I try to rebuild with some younger pieces. Definitely sucks giving up Turner, but it's the price I am going to have to pay if I want to improve this year. Good luck Hornets!

interesting Charlotte, I dont see it the same as you. If I were you I would be trying to win since you have a young core in place, that way you can convince free agents to come play for you. However the deal is fair, actually favoring charlotte as turner looks like a stud.
I accept

nice trade.. This is an advantage to Charlotte.. I really like Myles Turner.. He could become a star in the next few years.. This is also a good move for the Suns.. they already have too many big man and adding 2 wings will solidify their line up for the quest to championship.. I accept

I accept.
I don't like this trade for either team. I feel like Turner is better than Anderson. And Trevor Ariza is just a pile of dog shit at this point.

I accept I thought about that too, but Orlando got DeAndre and they were the third worst team in the league last year. Plus since I've got a good core in place, I'm hoping free agents might be more likely to come in as the proverbial last piece in the puzzle. And I love Turner. If they push him into the starting lineup and give him 20+ minutes every night, he's gonna tear it up. I hope :)

I'm actually going to reject. Trevor Ariza is over rated and I think Phoenix could get way more for Turner if he waited a bit. I like Anderson okay but the thing that really gets me is the pick. If JT isn't going to get someone better for Turner he at least needs to leverage his potential to be able to keep that pick.

The way I see it...
My favorite player involved in the trade (and every other voter's favorite, it seems) is Myles Turner. So Phoenix gives up Turner, but then Charlotte in return gives up the 2nd and 3rd best player in the trade with Anderson and Ariza. In return, Phoenix gives a couple of ineffective (albeit young) roll players to balance out. So then there's that pick... Maybe Brian is right and it's the tipping point, but it's only a second rounder. Maybe that's just what Charlotte needed Phoenix to include in order to agree to the deal - we saw significantly worse instances of this happen with Atlanta's offseason trades. And again, only a 2nd rounder. I can't get up in arms about that.
Tl;dr: yes, I think Myles Turner will most likely be worth more in the future when he's started getting playing time. But for right now, this trade isn't terribly unbalanced. I'm going to accept.
