Just to be clear, that 2nd rounder didn't tip the scales for me.

I accept once more, because I need DeRozan whether the other GM's can see that or not.

I also fully accept the risks of trading Favors, but with a new GM comes a new roster.(at least to me)

Still gonna reject it. I just don't see how this could end up not hurting Orlando. Favors is a great, if not elite, two way big man that you don't have anyone in line to replace him. You'd have four wings and a center with no point guard and no rebounding/interior defense at the 4 past Meyers Leonard (not very good).
Don't get me wrong, I love DeRozan and think his game is growing daily, but trading Favors with Bird Rights for DeRozan without them is clearly a big loss here. Bird Rights aren't transferred the same here as in real life, and they don't just mean you can go over the cap here either - they are supposed to add a level of "loyalty" to contract negotiations that your players just won't show you without BRs.
I don't hate the deal, I just think it actively hurts Orlando in a way that isn't necessary given the circumstances.

It was good enough for me last time. I like derozan and like what he brings, favors does have a nice contract but I think this deal is fair enough.....obviously it's not a perfect deal but I don't see it as collusion or franchise ending. So it's good enough for me. Pass.

I'm still a no. The birds are such a big deal and because DeRozan doesn't have them, I think this makes the trade too unbalanced.

Something worth mentioning I think is that Derrick Favors is injured for like 13 more games in the sim, which would hurt Seattle a bit.

John Stockton @docrivers101 Worth noting: Maybe it's just my bad for not knowing Doc well enough to accurately judge his intentions, but it's very different to let an established GM that's been here since the beginning make this move for the sake of pursuing a championship as opposed to here, where someone who hasn't been here very long, who I haven't gotten a feel for how/why they value players, is making a trade that doesn't drastically improve their championship chances, makes their lineup positionless hell instead of filling a need, and loses a good amount of trade value in acquiring a great young Shooting Guard that doesn't come with Bird Rights at the expense of a great young Power Forward that does. If the current line up didn't already have McCollum, Butler, and MKG available at wing, I might feel differently. Bottom line - Do I think this trade is "franchise ruining?" Not necessarily, but it could be. The current Butler/Favors/DeAndre big 3 will be a force to be reckoned with for a long time, and it would potentially be a big loss for Orlando to watch DeRozan walk after next season when Favors would have been around for one more and would be about 0% likely to leave after his contract is up.
