Logan HoughSeattle Supersonics accept this trade. With the recent stretch of some tough losses for our team and the acquisition of Derrick Favors, we believe this is a trade that allows us to not only fill a spot at shooting guard, but also adds some depth to the front line. LaMarcus is a great player and we wish him the best of luck, but we are excited to see what this new line-up can do not only this year, but also into the future, led by LeBron James. The Supersonics are dedicated to not just building a champion for 2016, but a dynasty for decades.

I accept; adding Aldridge gives me a nice set of forwards for the playoffs. This trade also facilitates future rosters moves I am envisioning.

Did you even ask Lebron about this?
I think you forgot that he is the forefather of big three.

huge trade.. although trading LMA wont help the Sonics.. LMA and Favours can play together I think.. i think so too. but having lma, favors in addition to zaza, dieng and nurkic, its only logical i give up a big man for a shooting guard. i literally have 0 zero shooting guards on my roster.

Which makes your ORL trade pretty silly.

demar/lma for eg/tt/favors gives me depth as well as youth. i honestly think my team may have been a little too top heavy and we all know how detroit won the title - - by having 60+ players at the end of the bench.
i even said in the orlando trade that i had other moves lined up if that passed so its clear i had a plan all along.

it should also be noted that in all my sims with demar and lma i did not see seattle ever win a championship.
with eg, tt and favors in my line up, i won tue championship in my first sim. so you guys can argue all you want whether this hurts my chances to win now or not but the facts are facts, folks.

The sim is notoriously inconsistent. I've simmed 7 times from the 25th through the championship and won a championship twice, once without changing anything, and once to try out a trade idea for a more defensive center. The reason I call your Orlando trade silly (especially in regards to this trade) is that you're trading a top 5 Power Forward for an injury-prone, maybe top 15 shooting guard and some average depth pieces, when you already had the third best shooting guard in the league and could have easily swapped Aldridge for a player like Favors plus depth. Between Orlando now having four wings and a center and you making a trade with LMA that gives you (in my opinion) a really underwhelming return, the whole sequence of trades just looks very awkward. But considering I think Memphis is winning this trade handily, and you certainly aren't in any danger of letting your franchise fall apart anytime soon, this is nowhere near rejectable. Accept.

Don't like this trade for the Sonics.. Steve is right.. should have trade for better SG. if Gordon reinjures again then Seattle will have a very hard time competing in the playoffs although Memphis will have a star player and can help them to contend this year.. I accept..
