Personal opinion is OKC is getting boned in this trade, I like it for Philly and Washington, consequentially.

I think OKC did this to get rid of Gortat's bad contract yet I'm willing to get it.

This I terrible for OKC, he could just try to sign him. He doesn't get BR's either way.

This I terrible for OKC, he could just try to sign him... The problem with that line of thinking is 1) my market is small and my roster isn't built with much future security, so I'm not the most attractive FA destination and I know that... 2) If my future isn't secure and I can't guarantee a good FA haul this offseason, I need to make moves to win now. 3) If I do have a chance of signing/resigning Gasol or a comparable FA, it will be because I was able to put my team in the playoffs and contend for a title. 4) My current roster build isn't all that close to being capable of Warriors style small ball, so I need a major upgrade at Center to improve both my post scoring and interior defense (All factors considered, Marc Gasol is probably 2nd only to Cousins in terms of Centers in the league who can fulfill both of these purposes). On top of all this, if it comes down to needing to move Marc before the season is over, I actually still think he might be a more desirable trading chip than either of the other players I'm moving to make this trade happen. At the end of the day you win some and you lose some. This is the kind of high-risk high-reward trade that I don't mind making because I legitimately think it makes my team better for this year. If there is a risk or loss factor here that I haven't considered that is making you react the way you are to the trade, please bring it to my attention so I have a chance to reconsider my position.

Steve acknowledges he is losing value in this trade but has a plan and reasoning behind his decision. Only thing is, do you really believe Gasol/Collison gives you the better chance to win instead of Teague/Gortat? I personally don't think so but that is the risk that OKC is willing to take. In the end, he believes that the best chance for his team is to try and compete now and is making moves in order to do so.
On the other hand, I think WAS is the one getting the real raw end of the stick here and i would've rejected if this were a two team trade, I honestly think he has a chance to compete this year, but looks like he has decided to tank.
As far as the picks go, I really don't think WAS needs to give Steph a 1st round pick, but with so many moving pieces, i dont think it's a deal-breaker. If all the GMs agree to this deal, I vote to accept.

I'm going to reject this trade (voting for OKC) and suggest it be readmitted without any 1st round picks changing hands... it would balance it perfectly.

I don't think the WAS pick is necessary either, but I'll leave that to the other two GMs involved in the trade. I still accept this trade as the portion I'm involved in is satisfactory to me.

I'll accept this trade. Still dislike it for okc but not too much and he acknowledges the risks. Philly kills and Washington gets better.

Oh shit, I typed my acceptance of this immediately after OKC's response but my phone died. His reasoning was solid, so I will accept.
