I accept.. Bucks needs PG and Lawson can help them.. although giving up a 1st rd pick is questionable, the Bucks wants to make it in the playoffs.. Stephenson have TO in the next season which makes the Wizards to save cap space next season

i accept.
however i think this si the situation we have pick protections for. A lotttery protected first would have been a lot more fair, but I think the MIL team should make playoffs with their recent aquisitions

Yeah it was a big gamble. We'll see if this was a worthy gamble. I believe it will. Hehe.

I'm going against the grain here (what's new?)... I don't like this one. Ty Lawson is "better" than Lance Stephenson only by the "63" next to his name. He's barely qualified as an NBA player this season. Terrible stats across the board, even worse impact on his team(s) morale. If I could make him a 45, I would do it. Giving up a 1st round pick for him is a major mistake and one that this Bucks team will definitely feel. Hell, as of today a guy like Langston Galloway, by all means just a serviceable backup for the Knicks at best, would be more deserving of that pick than Ty. Obviously the talent is there, but I think putting any faith in him to get back to his Denver form would be majorly misplaced. And that's completely ignoring Lance, who is struggling as well but is nonetheless much much better than Ty.
And then let's go a step further and discuss contract... If Brandon Knight was "overpriced" at 17.5M, what the hell do we call 2 years of Ty at 12M+?
This trade isn't a positive for the Bucks. Would have been better off keeping Knight compared to going broke for Lawson. I reject.

Lawson is awful but lets not kid outselves thinking lance is something worth a damn. Despite their personnel issues, it's impossible to deny Lance is going off in Memphis. 15.2 pts / 5.4 rbs / 3.3 asts on career highs 49.4% FG / 83.3% FT. I'm not saying he can keep it up, but if he can then we have to admit his struggles with the Hornets were an outlier and he wasn't given enough run with the Clippers to figure out that he was worth a damn again. Lawson is just garbage; Lance might have finally found himself a home. But yeah, my reject had almost nothing to do with Lance being more valuable than Lawson. Lawson isn't worth a first by any stretch of the imagination.

I honestly think there's a better chance Lawson comes back and is productive than Lance keeps up his current production.

Why does everyone keep talking about Lance? He's practically irrelevant to my opinion on this trade. Lawson isn't worth the first with or without Lance.

I think this trade blows for Milwaukee, but had to argue when you said you think Lance is an arguably better asset than Lawson. I'd trade Lance for Lawson straight up every single day.

Reject. Not saying Lawson can't get back to a decent level, but betting a first round pick that he will is too much
