Toronto Sends:
G/F 59 Gerald Henderson $6,000,000
Utah Sends:
C 61 Spencer Hawes $5,543,725 $5,782,450 $6,021,175 Indiana 2016 2nd Rounder Utah 2016 2nd Rounder
I accept! I get a guard that will help me in the absence of Burks and I get rid of Hawes whose contract I am not fond of and was looking to trade for quite some time. Good dealing Toronto.

Accept. Maybe I can deal Hawes sometime, but mainly I'm happy enough to be getting back into the draft, because a couple steals in the draft could really help my team out, or I could sell those picks during the draft for more than I'm losing now. Or, Hawes could be a good backup big if Amare opts out this offseason. Since I got Chandler I'm on the eating salary end of things, so his contract doesn't really bother me that much.

The 2nds seem unnecessary

I mean that Henderson and Hawes are approximately equal value so why add the 2nds?

No problem, I guess I was just curious as to why you felt Henderson was more valuable than Hawes.
I'll accept. I think it would've been fair as a straight up Henderson-Hawes trade, but the 2nds should be late 40s-50s so it's not a huge amount of value. If Utah would rather have the expiring then I'm alright with it.
