Phoenix Send:
C 63 Robin Lopez $8,273,122 $9,100,434 $9,927,746 10,755,059
Utah Sends:
SG 60 Alec Burks $9,213,484 $9,904,495 $10,595,506 $11,286,515 2017 1st round pick
I accept. Burks isn't going to help me this year and he's on an absurd contract. I get a much needed center to fill out my starting 5 for the rest of the season in Lopez.

I accept. Been looking to trade RoLo and wanted to get a 1st somehow out of him. This does that and adds a young guard to the mix. This will probably be a low 1st but I've heard good things about the 2017 draft class. Burks contract isn't the greatest and Hood's recent success could really diminish his playing time. But maybe he'll get traded or find his way back into a more prominent role...not sure, only time will tell. Luckily I have some time for him to figure that out next year.

I don't love Burks or his contract, but I think RoLo is probably on a bit too hefty of a contract as well so I don't think that should play too heavily into either side.
Burks is honestly not completely terrible, but he is D-Rose levels of injury prone and not insanely effective when he is healthy. The contract is a bit above average, but throwing in that late 1st should more or less even out the values here. Both guys are locked in long term, both have a chance to be more effective in their new rosters than they are in their current ones, and PHX can sit on the bigs on their roster for a bit with Gordon and Turner waiting in the wings, while Utah needs more inside presence to compete more effectively in the playoffs. I accept.
