I accept. Similar reasoning as before (http://dynasty720.proboards.com/thread/1942/orl-phx). This is a revised version of the previous trade between us. Although the essential framework is the same, there are some differences to this trade which include:
- Kosta Koufos. He is a great, under the radar backup big in the sim. He's on an extremely affordable contract and has the Di, Po and R attributes (which is super valuable coming off the bench). Honestly didn't want to lose him for my competitive season in 2 seasons because of that.
- I receive Tiago Splitter. He's 31, fairly injury prone, expensive contract and could receive a decrease imo. I view him as a negative asset.
- The Boston pick is locked in at 10th instead of estimating "top 10".
- Orlando is now taking on less salary (albeit a bit over 1M), whereas before they were taking the salary.
- Orlando is no longer sending the 700k, low rated players. Much simpler now.
Allen Iverson
I apologize for what happened last trade. I went out of line. At the time I didn't like the decision. We would appreciate you guys voting impartial to the previous trade. Thanks <3

I accept, this deal definetly favors phx but only in the sense of potential. I think orlando is getting guys who are proven and have a higher floor right now but PHX is definetly getting guys with the higher ceiling. But there is a lot of risk involved with MKG and the 10th pick in teh draft is never a sure thing. So i accept

I may be alone but I believe the Gordon contract is a negative asset. Koufos provides immediate impact but I think he depreciates over the tail end of the contract. Fournier is a good piece that Orlando now must match but he will most definitely be overpaid this offseason.
MKG has the highest ceiling in this move but he is no sure thing. The 10th pick has value but is no sure thing either.
I agree with Brown's assessment. Orlando knows what it is getting while Phoenix will have to wait & see.
I accept

I accept man the Grodon contract is definitely not a negative asset, that is a very cheap contract for a starting caliber SG. The contracts that are about to be handed out witht eh new cap will be a lot worse.

He has been below average in PER, WS/48, & RPM each year the last three years in a row. I have suffered with him as the SG on my team with a max salary for years. He was a beast at Indiana & early with the Clips but the knee injury has done him in as he has no lateral movement. Glad to see him go.

He's a top 5 catch and shoot player in the league though, and just slightly below average on defense. I'm not sure he is a starter but he should play 25 minutes a game on a good team and score a lot.

So what's your decision BK? trade is currently 2-0 favoring accpts. still needs more votes or until 1 week passes.

I think I'll accept. It was close for me last time, and Koufos is on a decent contract. Still think the Magic are losing it, but I don't think it's necessarily rejectable.

I was trying to sit this one out, so I'm glad Colin's vote decides it. I still think Orlando is losing the two best assets in this trade and I don't actually think it is all that close. The changes made between this time and last help balance things a bit, but I'd rather be getting MKG+10th pick 10 times out of 10, and that to me says the trade probably isn't very even, which is unfortunate since Orlando can't really afford to lose again. But it's decided without me anyway, so not my problem I guess. Good luck with this trade guys.
