Trade looks good. Anyway, just wanted to pass by to say there are no hard feelings for what happened with the trade we had.

I still hate it. Like an even more shortsighted version of the Harden trade... You have another year to figure out just how good C.J. can get. Why worry about what you're going to have to pay him before you have the time to figure out if he would be worth it? And, You already know without a doubt that D-Wade is headed downward, you just don't know how quickly. You never know how long his knees will hold out, he could literally end up retiring before next season due to issues he hasn't even started to experience yet... That's the kind of shit you deal with when talking about guys with chronic issues like D-Wade's knees.
Worst case scenario with McCollum is he comes out flat next season and his current trade value falls - in which case his potential offer sheets will decrease as well. Best case, he takes another leap and starts shredding defenses for 25+ a night and you would gladly pay him a max.
With Wade, best case is that he stays at his current level for long enough to trade him again, or he retires before he gets to a point that he literally can't play anymore (like Kobe) and you watch his rating drop like a rock (like Kobe). ~10M still won't look like a good contract from a 55 that plays 30 games a year.
Still reject from me. The 1sts made a difference, but I mainly object to the trading of McCollum for an asset that is guaranteed to depreciate.

Along with what Steve said, I think the value is still off. Why is Orlando including picks? Let alone FOUR 2nd rounders? If anything, imo, Toronto should be making the difference with picks.
There is no way Wade plays through that entire contract as well. Although it's nice now, he is only a 75 because of who he used to be and showed flashes of this year. I guarantee if he was SW he would fall within +/-3 overall of CJ, which to me is one of the biggest issues. I understand you're looking for an All star lineup with Derozan, Gasol, CP3, but you have that already with CJ.

I agree with JT. The picks should be coming from Toronto. This trade would have passed a year ago but McCollum is a different player since then. McCollum and and Wade both probably need to be Stock Watched as there is not a 12 point differential between these two. The Wade contract could really become a problem if he sticks around a la Kobe as he is covered through his 38 yo season.

I reject I believe McCollum received a stock watch near the end of the regular season. Either there weren't enough votes or his new rating (~68) hasn't been updated on the spreadsheet. I think it's the latter.

I'm on the train, but I think that CJ was stock watched in the middle of the season from, I think, 54 to 63.
