Portland sends:Blake Griffin $20,093,064 $21,323,252Arron Afflalo $7,000,000 $7,000,000 Memphis sends:Kristaps Porzingis $2,474,900 $2,581,500 $3,283,668 4,426,384 Nick Young $5,443,918 $5,668,667 Mike Miller $770,000
Memphis can confirm the salaries from their side, but should be under the new cap.
I'm a huge fan of Porzingis, and am sure that he will be as good player as Blake in couple of years with even higher ceiling. He fits perfectly with my 3 other young stars age and position wise. I'm giving up some wins in coming season with hope to be a contenter in couple of years once everyone reached their potential.
Probably could have gotten little more for trading Afflalo alone in another trade, but it was necessary to include him here to have a better offer than other teams going after Porzingis.
And as long as there is no attribute for players personality in the sim... Nick Young ain't that bad :D

This should still keep me at least 9 mil under the cap.
I accept.
While this might not fill my positional needs exactly, it fits my temporal needs very well and Blake's talent is undeniable.
This move will certainly change who I am targeting in the upcoming free agency but I am confident that this core will attract the pieces I'm missing.

Reject for me. Blake Griffin with bird rights is worth more than a rookie who had a couple good months. And you're basically giving Afflalo away. I get that neither Griffin nor Afflalo really fit with Portland's core young guys, but the value here is way off.

Yeah, not sure I'm a huge fan of this one. I like Porzingis potential in the same realm as Blake, but the value isn't there on the Memphis side to make up for the possibility of unrealized potential so it is still pretty unbalanced. Reject.

I am coming from the opposite end on this one. Porzingis proved to be a solid starter in his 20 yo season and will only get better and better. Griffin has relied on his athletic ability his whole career, is coming off an injury, making $20M+ per, & should only trend downwards (be it minimally) at this point of his career. I think the Clippers would beg for this deal.

I'm siding with Pete on this one. Blake is seeming to tail off. The injuries and off court issues are beginning to pile up. I also think Afflalo could get SW soon and he isn't a 66...he didn't even start for the Knicks near the end of the season. This opens some major cap for Portland, allows them to get a team within the same developmental timeline and improve their pick.

He's posted like the exact same numbers the past 2 years. It's not like it's chronic injuries. He's not injury prone he just happens to have been injured. There's a big difference.
I love Porzingis as much as the next guy, but he's definitely not Blake.

im gonna be honest, I'm not a fan of Griffin and his attitude. definitely one of the most athletic players on the court, but his off court behavior this last year have showed how dumb he could be off the court. on the other hand I think porzingis was the 2nd most valuable player in last year's draft. its not a sure thing he will be better than Griffin but he is a younger player on a cheap rookie contract who has the ceiling to be better than Griffin.
