A mere weeks after Toronto was seen as a contender for the title, the formerly win-at-all-costs powerhouse is being transformed into a first class tanking machine. The wheels were set into motion when Avery Bradley was shipped to New Orleans in exchange for pick 14. Then, future Hall of Famers Dirk Nowitzki and Dwyane Wade, along with trade deadline acquisition Tyson Chandler were sent to Boston in exchange for Jonas Valanciunas, an expiring Tiago Splitter (hit me up), and picks 19, 40, 44, and 46 in this year's draft. Speights was next, headed for Orlando at the price of picks 38 and 39. Finally, the future in Toronto has become clear with a (pending) deal that sends Rajon Rondo and Valanciunas to New York for pick 35, and New York's 2018 first and second round picks.
At press time, Raptors star Chris Bosh, who missed a majority of last season due to injury, was seen clutching remaining valuable teammates Bayless and Beasley, "I don't understand...", Bosh lamented, "I feel perfectly healthy, and was sure this team would make a strong run for the title next year. This doesn't make any sense and I don't like change."
While General Manager Brian Scalabrine has had his nose in the draft, he's given very few insights of his intentions to the press. When asked what the hell he was going to do with 1 out of every five players in this draft class, he shrugged, "Hopefully one of them will be good." As the house he built collapses in flames, Scalabrine was last seen laughing maniacally, his laughter only interrupted to ask whether team options become guaranteed if a player is waived using the stretch provision.
For all of the trades for draft picks Toronto has made so far, the only player they've drafted at present time is Thon Maker. On the topic, Maker said, "I hope I can bring some veteran experience to this team, and teach youngsters like Bosh the ropes."
All the while, Chris Bosh gently weeps.

Very nice -- I personally wouldn't stretch Bosh, I'd hold onto him - if he retires the contract comes off the books. If he comes back healthy you can trade him.
