I have been trying to move Chandler for a little bit now. This trade really works out for what I want to do. It gives me almost enough to offer the big max, while keeping a very strong team together to help entice one of those players into playing for the Celtics. I do have to trade Saric, which I think can be a productive player when he comes to the U.S. along with a 1st rounder in the '17 draft which is supposed to be pretty deep, as well as Chandler, who is still one of the better defensive centers in the league, if it wernt for that darn contract. I get a protected 1st in '20. The big return is the cap space. Sometimes in life, you have to ask yourself, is the juice worth the squeeze? For me in this case, I believe that it is.

Saric is worth more than the two 1sts trade that just got rejected.
Does boston even have any idea how much his assets are worth?

I see that I have a team maybe one piece short of doing something big. I see I have a shot at a possible deep playoff run, instead of riding on the right side of the intertstate, I have decided to try to move over to the passing lane and put the pedal down.

So... you try to pay even more than you did in the last trade to move chandler?

The last trade was rejected so you could move Chandler for less... not more.

Why dont you actually put a name to your profile instead of just hiding behind a guest tag?

The problem I have with this trade is a trade that looks exactly like it just got rejected. Red Auerbach We aren't trying to run your team, but the idea behind getting a trade rejected is that you're supposed to get a better deal, this one is far far worse. Saric > 2017 BOS

I hadnt really looked into Saric all that much. I spent a little time looking at it, and I dont really know that I want to trade him. I was thinking, eh the kid can't be that good, he's still playing in Europe. He was making more money over there. I am thinking about driving an hour and a half one way to work just because I can make more money. The difference between Europe contract and Philly contract is nuts! I dont blame him. Kid can play, I didnt really know a lot about him, but is definitely worth more than a couple 1sts. Pete MaravichColin LoftinJustin Timberlake
