I accept. I have been looking to move Knight for some time. Although this is a different result than I had anticipated on receiving for Knight, I am happy with it. One of my biggest team weaknesses is big men. With my plethora of guards, I think Biyombo will fit in very well rebounding and providing interior defense. I guess he's my poor man's substitute for not getting Drummond in RFA. The pick swap helped balance the trade out as having one side give a 1st seemed to lop-sided. Lastly, I get Shabazz. I'm not too sure on what to expect from him, but that's what is intriguing. He seems to be more of an offensive player which will be welcomed in my lineup. Furthermore, my boy MKG has a sad history of injuries so having a potential backup to him will be nice.
Dirk is in desperate need of a PG. Knight has the 3, B and Ps attributes in the sim which will help with the bonuses and is a rare combination for point guards. The PG market is also pretty shallow this year so acquiring a 24yr old under contract that averaged 19.6pts, 5.1asts and 3.9rbs last season before free agency is huge. To some, his contract may seem bad, but I have a good feeling that as we get more accustomed to the contracts with the new cap, we won't have such a negative view on it. With this trade, he has a starting lineup of Knight, EG, Gay, Thad and Favors while still keeping 2 1sts in 2017.
