- Hearing Toronto has offered a max to Nic Batum, feel he's a building block for the future.
- Whiteside has expressed displeasure with his offer from current team Miami Heat and for now intends to sign elsewhere. Supposedly, Whiteside is one of the many free agents that new Miami GM Kylo Ren finds to be "sub-par talent" and not worth giving long salaries or big money.
- more Miami rumors - Klay, TP, and Iguodala may all be on the move together to a Western Conference suitor that has the picks and the young talent to draw Kylo's interest.
- Perhaps Kylo Ren is working on a means of using the force to "steal" talent from players around the league in the same vein as the fictional movie "Space Jam.". This would be clear tampering and may result in some force-related rule changes. Precious force-users, Luke Skywalker and Darth Vlade, had no trouble avoiding rule violations as a result of force use so hopefully this can be reigned in early.
