They didn't stretch it, so you don't have to stretch it. Though you can if you want, at least before the season starts.
Also, you sure that isn't '18 Seattle first? Sacramento doesn't own Seattle's 2017.

I accept. I'm willing to bet on northern California native Damian being able to be a shining light to lead Sacramento out of the cellar. He wanted to come to us during free agency anyway.
This trade makes sense for Kwame as he is in a strong position such that he isn't just trying to field a competitive team; he is trying to optimize his chance of winning a championship. Lillard isn't quite on his timeline especially because he feels like the superteams created from free agency are too strong to beat for the next two years or so. He'd rather reload and try to add to his already stacked stable of 19-22 year olds that is virtually guaranteed to be the top team in 4 or 5 years. Add in Marqueese who probably had the third most upside in the draft beyond Simmmons and Ingram as well as Archie Goodwin who is going to be a solid rotation player in the league and a future 1st and his chances of that only increase further. Deron's contract doesn't hurt him at all as all his players are on rookie contracts so he has near infinite cap room.
It's also worth pointing out that Kwame's team is good enough to attract top level free agents. That greatly decreases Dame's relative value on his team. Golden State's going to be competitive for the next few years for the top level free agents (e.g. Steph next year) no matter what, so the value of high quality players on rookie level contracts is greatly increased.

Reject. Not even close for me. Lillard is a star. You're giving him away for a guy who hasn't played a minute of pro ball, Archie Goodwin who is trash, and the next first round pick of the team that just signed Durant. And you're taking on the 22M Deron Williams contract?!! This looks like something Doc would've tried
