I accept. Before GS and I made the Clarkson trade, I had contacted Billy about moving Mudiay. He said no around the time Kwame and I were discussing Clarkson. Yesterday Billy PMed me saying he would do it...but I had already moved RHJ. So basically, this was my original intention. The fact that Kwame was "under the influence" the last time makes this all feel a bit better too. Sorry for the trade reversal and confusion!

lol, Mudiay blows PHX is getting reamed here. So you're rejecting? Nah, I just wouldn't have given up a first to get this deal done. But Adam is notoriously stingy and I suppose this is probably the only way to make it happen if you want to invest in Mudiay's potential. I'll accept.

It's a personal opinion, but I think RHJ could easily be the best player involved in this trade. Feels like robbery to see him go to the team that's also getting a 1st from the deal, but that is the current perceived value of all of these guys so it's hard to pretend like it's rejectable.

Just like Steve said, there is still a lot of unknown regarding where these players could end up. Clarkson however has already proven that he is a skilled scorer and he's worth way more than an unproven Mudiay AND a first.
Maybe in a couple months into the season Mudiay shows that he's improved this trade will look a lot better, but as it stands now, it's a reject for me.

Mudiay put up more ppg as a rookie than Clarkson did... He improved (especially scoring wise) month by month and his best scoring month is better than any of Clarkson's months except for his April '15. I'm not saying I don't agree that Clarkson is more established, I just think he's decently overrated too. For the purposes of your argument, Mudiay has proven worthy of a trade like this because he's got way more in his potential arsenal than Clarkson does. It's just a matter of does he reach that potential. I don't think he does, but that's an opinion. That said, I won't argue against rejecting, just the reasoning you gave.

There are way too many rookies that have a small burst near the end of the season. Jusuf is an example. Like I said, maybe we wait a few months into the season and this looks better.

I agree that Phoenix is getting the worst of this but I believe Mudiay has the highest upside of anyone in this deal. He had a rough rookie year but remember he was only 19. I expect a substantial step forward from him this year. Each swap is acceptable in my eyes,
I accept.
