Philly Sends Josh McRoberts $5,782,450 $6,021,175 (61 PF) for Bay Area Sends Nik Stauskas $2,993,040 $3,807,147 $5,132,034 (53 SG) + 2nd Rd. Hornets ('17) GSW Salary After - 69426317 PHI Salary After - 87546045 Philly saves 3M so he can get a second tier plus he gets a second round pick. Nik Staukas would be sitting on my bench for a life time so I won't miss him. He has a PO (2nd Year) and QO (3rd Year) so it's a favorable contract. I have McRoberts for two years so I won't lose him next year. (this is specifically for you Steve) I get to add more depth after KAT. Ari Gold

i agree Gregg Popovich already explained my reasoning. I save about $3mil and get a 2nd that the previous GM traded away. I've been shopping McRoberts around all offseason for a mere 2nd rounder, so netting Stauskas is a win.
