current rating 74 overall Kevin Love is a good player but I don't think he deserves a mid 70's rating. He has declined since coming to Cleveland, I know He plays third fiddle to Kyrie and Bron but he just doesn't have the confidence anymore. 16 and 10 is a solid stat line but to me it doesnt make him a 74

Not saying he does or doesn't deserve a decrease, but as you said he is not in a position to be the 20 and 10 player he was a few seasons ago. Now that he's not in that position that doesn't mean he's gotten worse or declined or anything like that. The overalls are supposed to replicate actual skill/talent, not their fantasy stats. Stats and overall definitely overlap, but situational differences should be considered.
We will likely see some of the GSW players produce less this season than last. Does that mean that Klay or Draymond have gotten worse now that Durant is there taking an additional 10 more shots and requiring the ball a lot more than Barnes did? Not in my opinion.

I know that he doesnt get as many touches as he did in Minnesota but he still played pathetic during the playoffs and some of the regular season. Hes still good but no matter what team hes on he is not gonna be a 74 to me

If Melo really is a 73 then I agree, Love should be lower. It seems like we are lowering the really good players though, leaving Curry/KD/LeBron as basketball gods of d720.
