Was going over our league file and I thought, shouldn't these people have the athletic attribute? If David West, Gorgui Dieng, Festus Ezili, and Omer Asik can have the athletic attribute, I feel like these guys should have it too. Apologize if this post doesn't follow guidelines and isn't exactly a stock watch, as I wasn't not sure where else to put it. Sorry Gregg Popovich , but I don't think Curry's 85 in Dunking is very accurate lol. For reference, DeRozan's Dunk ability in our sim is a 80. |

Feel free to post any or all of these as individual stock watch threads. There are plenty of builds that could use improvement, and some of these are definitely among them.
Btw, West doesn't have the A attribute anymore.
And Curry's build is weird because he's an edge case. The sim's %'s tend to be lower than IRL, so to get Curry's 3P% anywhere near IRL, we made his height 100. (height plays a weirdly large role in 3P%) But that'd screw up his rebounds and blocks, so we made some other attributes super low (strength, jumping, rebounding, and blocking). But we voted him to be an 82, so to get him up there with near zero scores in those 4 stats, the shooting stats had to be super high. In general, it's hard to build the guys in the high 70s and 80s. Curry could probably be revisited.

For some reason i used to think A stoos for attacking attribute lol, yeah if a player needs a change in build than that should be posted with the player like Colin did with Brook Lopez.

In the sim Athletic is a defensive skill rather than an offensive one, that's why you don't see players like BG and Demar having it. If you look through your post most of those players kinda suck at defense. Maybe some of them could pick it up but it's not like Gerald green uses his athleticism for more than dunking ya know.

And if I'm correct, athleticism is a combination of height and some other things (I think jumping and speed?). So since bigs typically have high height ratings (and high in the other categories), it's quite easy for them to get the A attribute.
