I will take Philly. Eventually, blind voting and trade rejections might get to my nerves and I will quit and delete my account again but I guess I can be a proper caretaker for the time being plus I am making a sick signature. :o

Why don't you like blind voting? I personally hate it because of deflated post counts and lack of good player discussion. It forces people to post and interact. The worst part of this blind voting is 90% of the threads are 1-2 posts long. I like the discussion. It's like sitting at a bar and talking about how good the players on TV are with the guy next to you. It's kind of the whole point I think. but i love the results

The whole point is literally to change a player's rating to a more accurate one. Avoiding cognitive biases and group pressures is important for that.
Maybe someone would want to reduce the quality of the game qua game for the sake of just being able to chat about basketball with 29 other dudes who really like basketball. But I think we can make the game as good as possible, while still being able to chat plenty about basketball. And that's exactly what happens in chatango.

I think blind voting gives you the right to vote whatever and I believe best arguments to vote on players come from replies.

You're right. It does give you the right to vote whatever. But that's a benefit. You're uninfluenced by biases and group-think. And the way we aggregate votes avoids any outliers manipulating the result. Furthermore, arguments and replies aren't prohibited. You just have to avoid anchoring people to specific numbers.

Don't agree with the group-thinking arguments. Those members that could be influenced wouldn't blind vote I think. The others would vote what they want regardless and the ones looking to make harm probably would not vote or make less harm to make it less evident. It is just an opinion though. Just mentioned it in the 1st thread because things get to my nerves easily. ;-|

I will step down as 76ers GM. I enjoyed the last 4 days running the team but I realized it wont work long term. Will stay as a member though posting as I did in the last 2 weeks as a guest, LOL. And I will try to re-adjust the signature so it is not gone completely.

I did not resign. I am still around. Just not as a GM. I wanted to help and I reckon it is not easy for GMs to stock watch players from other teams down.
