Current rating 57 I think Dedmon is one of the most underrated centers in the NBA at the moment. I think he should have a starter level rating. In many teams he would be easily better than their current starting center. In very deep Spurs front court he doesn't unfortunately get enough minutes that people start recognizing how good he is. Basically he's a lite version of Deandre Jordan. Just dunks, defense and rebounds. Per 36min stats: 59 %FG, 68%FT, 10.9pts, 13.4reb, 1.3stl, 2.1blk Ridiculously good net rating Offensive rating: 123 (top 15 NBA) Defensive rating: 98 (Top 5 NBA) DBPM: 3.5 (6th in NBA) Defensive rebounding %: 30% (7th in NBA) And before anyone says that this is just because he plays in a great Spurs team. He was putting up similar stats already last year in awful Orlando (e.g. +15 net rating). Nobody just watched Orlando games to notice.. lol.

Showing stats per 36 min is a fancy way of saying that Dedmon never played more than 15.6 minutes per game in 4 years in the league. :P And it is not like he played for the best teams around before Spurs. I would give an extra point myself though.

Not that uncommon that undrafted players like Dedmon (e.g Bazemore, Whiteside) have multiple years of very low minutes before they finally get good. And it doesn't really matter how much he played in first two seasons.
Last year and this he has been really good. Minutes were not low because he sucked, but because he played behind Vucevic, who was one of the top offensive centers in the league. And this year he has to share minutes with Gasol, Aldridge and David Lee, who have all been all stars not that many years ago.
