I accept. Mozgov is not in my rotation at the moment, and this trade gets me a similarly skilled player in return who can provide me Point Guard depth.

I accept.. I will have a decent back up Center in Mozgov with a cheap contract by trading my 2 future 2nd rd picks. He will be handy as we get ready for the next season. I am not good at drafting 2nd rd picks so this ok for me as I get a tested player in Mozgov.

yeah this is going to take a lot of back tracking to reverse. guess that's the disadvantage of having a commish who doesn't enforce the rules or update the depth charts.

I think we can relax here lol. The rule is there so new owners don't come in, trade everyone and then ditch. Also helps to familiarize themselves with the league.
Kwame has shown he isn't one of those owners that leaves in a week, obviously. While we should've been more weary of it then, I don't think reversing trades makes any sense. And I'm not sure of the dates exactly, but that rule has been lifted in a few cases (approved by Billy) when FA and rookie drafts are before the 1st week no trade rule.

I didn't say anything about good trades or not, just that he never made trades and ditched. Last I checked Kwame is still here haha

1 week rule is sometimes waived if an experienced GM takes over a team, or if we forget about it.

The reason your trade was reversed was because it had to be. There was no way to give you a player that indiana didn't draft. We don't reverse trades unless we absolutely have to. If something slips by that breaks a rule (usually the 125% rule), then it usually is just kept that way. Your trade involved you getting a player from Indiana that Dallas drafted... so... there was no other choice.

It will need to be reposted and re accepted. The whole point is the GM should take at least a week to weigh offers from various sources. Not just do trades that a previous GM had worked out beforehand.

It has nothing to do with good trades vs bad trades, the idea is no one can talk to every GM in just a few days. You're supposed to gather lots of offers, if youve been in the league for 2 days you've probably only talked to 3-4 GMs and you don't even understand the rules. Frankly, a week is too short (GMs will make many trades they will come later to regret), but you gotta let people make moves at some point.
