The new trade committee:
Regulations:Every member gets a vote on the trade, with up to 9 members being allowed to vote on a trade before voting closes. Members may change their vote at any time before voting closes. Each GM must weigh for themselves whether they believe the trade to be fair. Please consider the purpose of the Trade Committee as outlined in the Trading thread: GMs will be held responsible for posting a good reasoning with their vote, and not being overtly biased in their votes. Violations of this clause can result in the termination of your voting privileges based on commissioner discretion. Process:- Trade is posted.
- Any GM not involved in the trade casts their vote, with reasoning. Reasoning must be included with at least 2-5 sentences of justification for your vote.
- A maximum of 9 votes may be accrued, the results of which shall decide whether the trade will be passed or not.
- If 5 accepts are gathered the trade will be passed. If 7 days pass without 5 accepts or 9 votes being gathered the current tallied results will be made final.
- Trade is passed or rejected.
Hopefully this will speed things up, and give everyone a voice. I'm hoping the "reasoning" article keeps idealogues from swaying the votes too much, but we will see! All of this is subject to future revision at Commissioner discretion. *The new TC takes effect for all trades posted after the date on this post

Oh yeah, during the offseason the 7 day waiting period is shortened to 24 hours.
