I accept. Having been unable to carry over our Season 1 success into last year, and with this year shaping up to once again land in the 12-16 pick range that is the hellish purgatory of the NBA, the Hornets are making some moves to rebuild the team. The first of these is to move Brook Lopez for some future picks. We love BroLo. He's a baller. But depending on the length of the rebuild, best-case scenario is he's in the last year of his contract by the time the Hornets are ready to compete again. Having the future picks and making the Hornets measurably worse in the immediate and near-term future makes it worth it to move on from the beloved BroLo. Bastian Pala

I accept.
In a surprising start to the year, the Bucks are in a good position in a soft eastern conference. With a place at the top of the central division at stake, the Bucks are in desperate need of reinforcements. This move not only allows favors to slide into his favored position of PF it also brings in a guy who knows how to score and defend the point. Coupled with the fact that we are unloading the anchor that is Brandon Knights contract and replacing it with the work horse of Delly, , the Bucks are looking to contend and the time is now.

This is a borderline trade for me. I was alright with it until I saw the PHI 2018 1st... that pick could be really special seeing how Philly is a bottom 8 team right now. Obviously Brolo is playing well, and that means Mil isn't doing just a straight cap dump of Knight here -- I still don't believe it warrants both the MIL and PHI 1st in 2018.
If DK doesn't come back and another GM takes over that team, you could be giving up a top 6 pick next year for Brolo...
Witholding my vote for now.

Meh, I actually see where you're coming from but I think you're undervaluing what the Bucks get back, in a sense. No one is buying Knight without getting a pick back, so Knight+MIL 2019 1st is just a standard cap-dump trade... throw in the returning ATL 2nd there if you need to count it as part of the Knight portion of the trade to balance the value. Then BroLo+Delly for a POSSIBLE top 6 pick (though not even guaranteed to be a lottery pick, since Harden+Conley is a solid back court that can be built around)... in 2018, a draft which we all acknowledge isn't spectacular. I think it is a fair deal. Accept.

With all due respect, BroLo walks in to this team and ends up as my best player. Being able to free up Favors from being defended by a Center the whole game can't be disregarded as well. Not to mention still opening up cap space. In regards to the pick, yes the Philly 2018 pick could be worth something but then for all we know they finish outside the lottery and I end up getting a good Center for a over paid shoot first PG and two mid round picks.

Accept, Bucks still have two firsts in 2018, so if total collapse happens it shouldn't hurt the franchise too hard. 2019 is a while from now, so different trades could be made if picks are needed then. Someone has to pay Knight for a while.

I accept. Steve's logic seems correct in considering the trade balanced. Furthermore, I'm one of the ideologues who doesn't care about balancing trades, just whether teams remain viable. And that's the case here.
Milwaukee will have a decent team with no bad contracts (well, Aaron Brooks isn't great but not team killing. He could retire during it too). And they're not emptying the coffers when it comes to picks. Over the next 4 years, this will leave them with 5 first round picks and 3 seconds. All in all, still a positive balance.
Charlotte moves into rebuilding. This will give them 7 firsts over the next 4 drafts, and 3 seconds. And they have some intriguing young pieces already in Richardson, Lyles, and Baldwin. And they could continue to make moves to further tank and accumulate draft/youth assets. By the time all those assets mature, the bad Knight contract will be ending.

Accept from me.
I think that Philly pick is late lottery at best. Regardless of who is gonna be Philly GM next, they won't be trying tanking next year without owning their own pick. With Harden and Conley they will be borderline playoffs at least imo, so it will be ok pick but nothing too good. Would haven been smart to put some protection to that MIL 2019 pick, but in overall I think this is a ok trade for both.

It's an accept from me.
I've heard irl Brooklyn is looking for 2 1sts for BroLo. While the team situations are different and that asking price is probably steep, I could see a real team paying that only if they were to get rid of a bad contract as well (which is the case here). The 2nd and Delly help even out the chance of the Philly pick being really good as well.

I accept! It is clearly prevalent that the Bucks want to contend and this trade will help them big time. Brook Lopez is on a great contract and is starting to shoot the 3 ball pretty well

billy Whenever you get a chance, can you edit the roster to reflect this? This is another one of the trades where I know I did, but it didn't save for whatever reason. The draft rights page was already changed, and so was the sim...
