I accept. With no Ball Handlers on the team and no passers, - point guard is a necessity for the Bucks organization. With the departure of Brandon Knight freeing up cap space, this allows for the team to find a much better fit for the system we are looking to run up here in Milwaukee. Giving up a Achilles-ruptured Rudy Gay for a starting point guard, getting rid of Aaron Brooks who is on his way out in IRL, and only losing one pick in next years talented draft seems to be the best case scenario for the team.
Furthermore, keeping the core of athletic defenders such as Favors, Young, and Ariza is what made me chose this deal over others that didn't include a first round pick. In my eyes, keeping favors is more important then keeping Utahs pick which looks to be a top 16-20 after things are all said and done.
In final analysis, this trade coupled with the move for BroLo helps the bucks become a better overall team rather then just a surprising team. Hopefully with a few more moves to secure a complete Bench Mob the Milwaukee Bucks can contend in this league.

Accept from me.
that Dragic contract is could be really bad for the last two years, but this combined with the other trade Bucks will be one of the top teams in the East for next two years for sure. So it's good all-in move imo.
I like Justin Anderson also and extra pick is always good, so not that bad for Chigago. They also get at least Rudy Gay's bird rights and have team option for next year, so there is some flexibility if Bulls want to trade him further or keep him.

I accept.
Bulls don't really take on any risk. Get rid of a big contract, get a 1st and Anderson. If Rudy Gay is back and healthy, that contract is fine. If not, they just decline his option. Aaron Brooks isn't a team killer.
The risk is on the Bucks side. The Dragic contract is big and will eventually hurt. But with these two trades they would be par with respect to draft picks (4 firsts, 4 seconds). And it's a solid move to compete for the next 2-3 years. After that, they might have to eat the Dragic contract and tank, but that's doable. Young and Gordon will probably still be moveable.

Including the pick in this deal seems like a bit too much to me. I introduced the pick because of the injury. There's athletes who never recover from an Achilles injury. If it can kill a Greek Warhero, it could end a basketball players explosiveness. he may never come back the same.

If my math is right, after the Bucks-Hornets trade, the Bucks are at $86,615,674. This trade has them taking on an additional $8,490,267 in salary. Which would put them at $95,105,941.

If it can kill a Greek Warhero, it could end a basketball players explosiveness. he may never come back the same. If the Achilles injury means he doesn't come back the same, he has a player option that makes him the virtual equivalent of an expiring contract, so there is plenty of value in acquiring him regardless of whether he comes back the same. I would say without the pick I'd feel much much better about this.

Billy, is it okay if we change the trade to make salaries work? I have a new deal in place and Bastian agreed

I accept the new deal. This is an interesting deal that seems to be hitting the right notes for both teams. Milwaukee gets a piece to help him contend that is still solid IRL, while Chicago gets Justin Anderson who is very under rated (in the sim and IRL), and a pick to try to rebuild his roster.
Worst case scenario is 3-4 years down the road for Milwaukee and then it isn't too bad, and hopefully they won't regret giving up JA and that first too much.

I accept, while this trade isn't great for either team, it isn't bad enough to reject.
Dragic is on a huge deal and he's 30, but his game isn't really dependent on his athleticism.
Utah's pick won't be great but it isn't bad either. Justin Anderson is the piece that is being moved in this deal that will lead to the most regret in the future.

I accept, nothing to dislike about either of dragic or gay's contract. I think Justin Anderson's projected to peak at a defensive specialist, so don't think involving him is unfair. Pretty fair trade thinks Yao
