OKC Receives:(66) Myles Turner - $2,053,200 $2,141,600 $2,841,903 $3,890,565(64) Jordan Clarkson - $15,000,000 $15,000,000 $15,000,000 $15,000,000 $15,000,000 Lakers 2nd 2019 Salary Received: $17,053,200 Current Team Salary: $95,548,196 Salary Sent: $13,692,960 Team Salary After Trade: $98,908,436 GSW Receives:(65) Victor Oladipo - $6,552,960 $8,551,612(65) Jae Crowder - $5,500,000 $6,000,000 $6,500,000 $7,000,000 (60) Brandon Bass - $700,000 (49) Rodney McGruder - $940,000 $940,000 Salary Received: $13,692,960 Current Team Salary: $72,967,207 Salary Sent: $17,053,200 Team Salary After Trade: $69,606,967
I accept this trade. I imagined Myles Turner was bound for big things and I even wanted to draft him in 2015's draft, since then I think he's proved he's on that track. I'm taking a gamble that he will grow into the star center that I have wanted on my team since day one. Since Kwame has KAT and Gobert to fill out his front court, I knew that he needed some reliable wings and figured we could reach a mutually beneficial deal here. Losing Jae hurts because he's having an incredible year and his contract is ridiculous, but I'm going to trust that my other front court assets will be valuable enough to fill out my newly-formed hole at SG/SF beside Khris and leave me ready to compete for championships for a long time to come. Taking on Clarkson was just a necessary part of this deal for Kwame to get what he was looking for, and I think he'll be useful as a relatively expensive sixth-man so that didn't bother me. Looking forward to having Turner in OKC and hope that Victor and Jae find success with Golden State. Gregg Popovich

I accept this trade. I think its a trade that works really well for both sides. Golden State has too many really good big man, so trading him with Clarkson gets him two really good players in Oladipo and Crowder who will make a much better starting lineup for their team. This trade also works well for OKC as they get to have a better lineup of players on their team. I really like this trade for both sides.

I'll veto this, Myles looks like a superstar in the making and Dipo / Crowder is a decent return but including Clarkson in the trade makes no sense. You should get a Kings ransom for Turner imo. On top of this Dipo is only on the books for two more years...

On top of this Dipo is only on the books for two more years... For the record, Oladipo already averages over 15ppg and could easily grow into a 20ppg player with another year or two (he's still young.). Crowder is a 3/D beast that is currently flirting with a 50/40/90 season. He's moving Clarkson for Cap space. And Vic is an RFA so GSW gets 6 years of team control for him. Your arguments are valid, but I don't feel like you're valuing this the way it should be valued.. if I added more I think this might be questionable in my direction.

I accept. Oladipo is an RFA after the contract, so they'll still have team control as long as they think he's worth it. And I could see someone going either way on that Clarkson contract. It's pretty hefty. I personally think it'll be fine, but it's reasonable to see it as a risk.

Accept, a lot of people are very high on turner but I think Crowder and Oladipo make up for his high potential. Clarkson isn't valuable enough to warrant a reject

Accept only because of the shape of both of these teams. Reason I say this ? In real life this trade would be laughed at but because GSW has such a loaded front court this trade allows for flexibility for the both of these teams. One of KAT Gobert or Turner was being wasted on the bench and let's be honest, they would probably be beyond pissed off taking a bench role.

Real life Philly 76ers is the closest thing to mind when it came to my team you have Curry and KAT, they have Embiid and TJ McConnell.. Sounds about equal I hate this for GSW. I don't see Dipo getting ever to the all star level. I think his and Clarkson's ceiling are very close to each other and you probably have to pay more for Oladipo this summer. So those two are close to even value for me. Although Crowder's contract is awesome, this doesn't look like enough return for Myles. I would like to reject this, but since GSW is already so good, this is not close a to franchise ruining move. I'm gonna accept.

And since it was also his 4th year, and he was worse than in both 2nd and 3rd year in the league. I think 90% of the people at that time would have agreed with me.

I would be lying if I said Indiana won that PG-13 trade when I first saw it, just funny how he is an All-Star now and Myles is a scrub compared to him.

Myles Turner is one of the leading reasons why the pacers haven't collapsed after the Oladipo injury. 4th in the league for defensive rating. 7th in defensive win shares. 3rd in defensive plus/minus Only 23 years old. Probably going to be a perennial DPOY candidate for the next decade.

Sure he has potential but Oladipo >>>>>> Turner
