Current Rating: 71 I'm not sure why people aren't talking about it, but he's having a bad season for him. 17.0 PER is just above average. BPM is precisely 0.0. He's still shooting very well, but he's become more of a spot up shooter. He doesn't pass (9.0 AST%). Doesn't rebound (6.1 TRB%). I think he could use a bit of a decrease.

not sure if that warrants a decrease unless you're under the mindset that he was overrated to start. klay isn't posting those stats because he isn't required to as much in GSW offense but I don't think he has regressed in terms of his basketball skills to deserve a lower rating imo

agree with John on this one. his rebounding percentages this year match his career averages, and his field goal % and effective field goal %s are currently at career highs

Career lows in AST%, STL%, and BLK%. And a 3 year low in USG%
And there's something to be said that he was overrated before. He's a great shooter. And supposedly a good defender, though conspicuously no defensive metric has ever supported that. Otherwise, what does he do well?

I've personally seen his defense to defend those metrics. stats are nice, but they're only a representation of what a player can do and despite his somewhat less impressive stats. he has shown over the years that he can go toe to toe with some of the juggernauts in the NBA (e.g. Irving, harden, lillard)
