I accept. This is an extremely hard decision to make, but my team isn't where I wanted it to be at this point, and after dealing for Turner it just became increasingly obvious that the time to reload around a young core is now. Simmons+Turner+Johnson+Powell+Diallo as a start and I'll keep working to turn what's left of a contending roster into a promising young team that can win later on.

I didn't realize there was an issue, but I don't mind either way. We can execute this at the deadline as well, or I imagine that Toronto is fine with the trade going through sooner since Jabari hadn't gotten injured at the time of the trade when they wanted to wait til the deadline to make sure the pick didn't devalue, no?

Yeah, I believe the salaries work out either way, whether Ben Simmons should be displayed on my roster page or not, he hasn't played any games.

Aight sweet. I figured you had it under control :) We could put Simmons back on Atlanta's roster but the trade still fits under the 125% rule whether he is on my roster or not, yeah I will edit the OP thought to specify it won't pass until the trade deadline. Good catch.

So, I'm not gonna ask Brian to bump the jabari trade up, but rather just have this trade also process at the deadline. Brian has a roster of 15 people, and this next month could be useful in deciding who toc ut.

I'm going to accept. I think this is a tough one, but I can't think of many better young studs better to trade for a star. Hopefully Simmons plays, and plays well!
P.S. it is no beef to me for the trade to go through early, I'd gladly cut and stretch Joe Young.

I feel like OKC is giving up a bit much since Wall is a beast while Simmons is either going to be really good or a bust.Johnson and Simmons equal Wall for now but Baynes and 2 2nds? I guess if Diallo is good then that should be fine, Ray McCallum Jr is just plain trash.I was leaning towards a reject here but if Simmons lives up to expectations OKC won't be giving too much, I just am concerned that Simmons won't be a superstar.I'm going to pretend his future is set in stone and will be a star with no risks at all so that thisll be worth it.I think it will be so I accept.

I'm not a huge fan of Ben Simmons. For me the concerns for his shooting technique, attitude and re-aggravation of the injury makes this very risky for Steve. He will be good, I'm not sold on the superstar potential. But a lot of people disagree with me on him, including Steve here obviously :D. Even if you like Simmons, I think he alone for Wall would be bit far stretched, but including Johnson who is a good young guard and has improved every year makes this ok. Diallo hasn't really played enough for me to say anything, but I guess the potential is there. I don't really understand why OKC had to include the picks value wise, but they are still such a small part of the trade that it doesn't really matter.
Accept.

I don't like this trade. I think Wall alone with his dope contract is worth more than Simmons (who I like), Johnson (who I also like) and Diallo. Yet OKC is giving up a reliable back up in Baynes, and 2 2nds in addition to the superstar PG who is on a roll irl. To me this is rejectable. Reject.

I accept. One side is definitely more risky than the other, but I don't want to enforce a normative stance on risk aversion. Simmons pairs really well with Turner, time-table-wise (that's what I was hoping to put together in Grindfather). The move doesn't make a ton of sense with the other contracts on the books. But ultimately, the Thunder remain a perfectly viable team.

I am right with Theodore on this one. Haven't seen enough of Simmons to have an opinion on him, but I usually personally prefer the side receiving the established player. But since this is Billy and Steve, two of the most experienced and knowledgeable GMs in the league, I think they can do their own player and risk calculations and make the best decision for their franchises.
Accept.

I accept, billy gets the sure thing I'm wall but Simmons could become a hall of famer if he stays healthy and fills out his potential. A bit risky for okc but Steve is a veteran in D720 so we gotta give him the freedom to run his team
