Cleveland Cavaliers trade: Derrick Rose $21,323,252 Dejounte Murray $966,700 / $1,041,600 / $1,086,400(TO) / $1,959,866(TO) / $2,906,481(QO) Julius Randle $3,094,014 / $4,149,242(TO) / $5,564,134(QO) Livio Jean-Charles $1,188,840 / $1,242,240 / $1,295,760(TO) / $2,338,847(TO) / $3,484,882(QO) 2017 IND 2nd 2017 CLE 2nd = $26,572,806 for Steve Jobs trade: Khris Middleton $15,000,000 / $16,000,000 / $17,000,000 / $18,000,000 Alex Len $4,823,621 / $6,396,121(QO) Tyler Johnson $10,000,000 / $10,000,000 / $10,000,000 / $10,000,000 / $10,000,000 =$29,823,621 112% incoming vs. outgoing Cleveland Cavaliers accept. I am a big fan of, and believer in, both Dejounte Murray + Julius Randle but this deal helps our playoff push this year, as well as locking down an excellent player in Khris Middleton for the foreseeable future. I think Len's rights will be nice to own in RFA and Tyler Johnson is a good role player on a decent contract. Good dealing with you Steve, best of luck!

The OKC Thunder accept this trade. Murray is one of the few guys I was specifically targeting, as I think he has incredible potential and landed with one of the few teams I absolutely trust to bring out the best in a player. As with the Simmons deal, this is still just the beginning of a larger series of deals that get my youth movement started. Nice dealing, Scottie.

I actually think I like Clevelands end of the deal better. Their side has a lot higher of a floor. I admittedly don't know much about Murray but it's probably hard for anyone to know with how little he has played. Definitely risky but I can see it benefitting both sides eventually.
Accept

I think Steve loses here but he does get a package that has a higher ceiling. Would think a lot more about rejecting trading middleton who could be a reliable second option on a team but since it's Steve, I accept.

I would keep Middleton all day here but Steve must know something about Murray that I don't, accept

I watch a lot of Spurs games and you can definitely see the potential in Murray to be a very good player. He is fearless attacking the rim and has already a killer floater. But there is still a LOT to improve in defense, shooting especially and in general he makes some bad decisions. But he definitely has the chance to work on all of that in a team like Spurs.
But I do think that Middleton will still keep improving and OKC is giving up a helluva player in a good contract for a lot of uncertainty. So OKC loses this value wise, but that's how it typically works when trading for potential. If man wants to turn on the full tank, it's not for me to stop it. Accept.
