Current rating: 70 Deserves an increase. His current rating puts him at just barely an All-Star. He's an All-NBA caliber player (72+ according to Allan's meta-analysis) and deserves to be rated as such. He's absolutely beasting right now in playoffs with 8.8 rbs, 7.0 asts, 2.2 stls, 3.3 blks, 15.5 pts, 54.5 3p% and clearly showing why he's one of the most impactful players on the best team (possibly ever).

IMO his regular season wasn't any better than a 70, and the sample size from this playoffs is too small to justify pulling him up... even if it looks a lot like this regular season was the statistical outlier, it doesn't mean we should leave the door open for changing a player's rating every five games to try to match performance. The ratings committee just doesn't have the ability to keep up with that.

I agree he doesn't deserve an increase, but not because he isn't really really good. Draymond's impact isn't really accurately reflected in the box score stats. And the overall rating, designed to mimic PER, is mostly reflected in box score effects. Hence, Draymond's overall would be lower than his "real" impact.
To make up for that are the attributes and their synergy effects. Draymond has a really unique and impactful build with Di Dp and Ps. The only other player with that combination of attributes is LeBron, and his Di is probably arguable.

The main issue that brought him down too far IMO was guys voting sub-70 last SW. That's absolutely absurd

We tend to use the median result, so that doesn't matter a ton. There's no difference between the lowest vote being a 69 or a 0.
