Current Rating: 52 Could use an increase. I believe he's seen by most as a fringe starter.

I personally think Vonleh is significantly worse than a fringe starter.

I personally think Vonleh is significantly worse than a fringe starter. Ehh, do you watch much Blazers games? Because he consistently does small things well and outside of Nurk was our best defensive bigman this year. And, playing with Nurk really opened up his offensive game. I think he's better than he might be percieved, but the more appropriate stockwatch will be when he has a bigger sample size of him with Nurk.

I'm a big fan of where he can go, but if Nurkic just got re-rated a 64 based on his end of season performance, Vonleh shouldn't sniff that.

Nurkic got rated a 64 because he only played like a 68 for 20 games and there is no reason to give him the benefit of the doubt until he continues that level of play for a decent portion of next season. Not that I disagree with how this relates to Vonleh, just that I think your interpretation of Nurkic's Rating is missing the point a little bit.

Well, the point was Vonleh improved when Nurkic came over. So you'd think Vonleh didn't have more games of improved play than Nurkic did.

Not proposing any ratings, but Vonleh's rating is lower than many late first round 2016 rookies.. and also way lower than most if not all of those from the 2015 and 2014 class.
In my opinion, 52's should be given to players who would make a team worse or are serious liabilities at their position. Our stock watch czar believes that ratings < 54.15 are replacement level players that aren't even second team material.
I'm not saying Vonleh is a great player or even above average. He was pegged as extremely raw when he was drafted, and he still is rather undeveloped. But he's had good games this year, and his FG% has been improving. Point being, I don't think he should be seen as that same player he was 3 years ago.
