I accept this trade. I get help at my small forward position. This trade gives me a young guy with the opportunity to improve. The LAC and ATL picks should be high picks in the 2nd round. Those picks are 1st round talent with 2nd round price tag. I also have to give up my 1st round pick in this year's draft, another chance at trying to get younger.

I think this is fine. Harris is pretty expensive but there's some bad money going both ways. Accept

I accept. Harris could become a negative asset, but that matters a lot less for the Celtics who are going to be operating way over the cap anyway. If they are operating over the cap, talent simpliciter matters more than talent per dollar.

Accept as well. I understand why the Bulls would do it, but I love the trade for the Celtics. Despite his contract (which looks better now that the cap has jumped), it's not very often that a contender can bring in such a young contributor that doesn't really have any glaring flaws to his game. He's not a "build around him" type of talent, so it doesn't make sense for Chicago to hold him, but for this price finding someone who can fit at the 3 or the 4 (great if Millsap walks), isn't even 25, and does enough of everything that he's a perfect 3rd-5th option on a team with two star guards is a steal.

I was bitching about cap space but realized my rant was invalid.
