The black boxes are the range of results we have, whether field goals attempted, rebounds, etc.
The blue boxes are the range of results they had in the 2010-2011 NBA season. The first two charts are the top are games won, so it wont be accurate until the end of the season... but the rest of the boxes are pretty close.
It's basically a way to tell how accurate the simulation is working with our ratings to create a league that is similar to real life :)
If we notice we are getting a lot more blocks, rebounds, etc, the ratings committee can take a look at it and adjust.

The general trend shown here is that pace is up and, as consequently tends to happen, efficiency is down. The only stat that belie that fact is fouls, and I'm not sure there's a way to increase just them?
I'm also not sure why pace is up. One thing to keep in mind is that without injuries, a lot of teams are probably overplaying their starters with + and ++ minutes. That doesn't explain the overall pace/efficiency trend, but it will, I think, decrease the individual efficiency of your starters as fatigue is a factor.

Fouling is hard to replicate... the attributes that control the fouling skill also control the other skills and its hard to make them all correctly. With a lot of effort we can do it though :D

soooo what i got out of this chart:
black=us blue=irl
in conclusion, the players and ratings we have for them is pretty good at simulating real life stats.
the end.
