Orlando Magic receives SF 64 Evan Fournier $19,425,000 $17,850,000 $16,275,000 $14,700,000 *PG 58 Lonzo Ball *Lonzo is projected to have a starting salary of $5,200,000. adding that to Fournier's will give us a total of 24,625,000 in the first year. Portland Trailblazers receives PG 76 Chris Paul $24,268,959 Both teams are over the cap. Orlando and Portland's incoming salary is within the 125% rule with or without Lonzo's contract (w/ $24,281,250 and w/o $30,781,250) trading away CP3 for a younger PG in Lonzo while also gaining Fournier's contract to match CP3's. Theodore Duncan going all-in next season to win it all!

Accept because CP3 is also a big baller. It will get expensive but I'll worry about supermax, luxury tax and hard cap issues next year.

Nice, that's a pretty nice return for CP3 imo. Portland got really scary. I accept.

I'm gonna reject. the potential of lonzo ball to become a franchise player in LA is much more valuable than CP3 at this point of his career. not knocking on CP3 and his greatness, but he is past his prime and is going to be a free agent, set for a pretty big pay day. in the end, i don't think it is franchise ruining but this is just too small of a return for the #2 pick.

How could this possibly be rejected. CP may very well still be a top 5 player. I wouldn't do it but I see no reason why it shouldn't go through, Lonzo could very easily bust and CP looks like he will age well.
I accept

Thanks everyone. I think my team will end up fine even if DMC and CP3 both leave next year. And I would have 50mil cap to replace them. :D And I just need to pay them enough to keep them. So bigger problem will be keeping under hard cap when Porzingis and Booker are also looking into max contracts in two years...
