TORONTO SENDS:
CHI 2020 2nd
PHI SENDS:
Draft rights to Ivan Rabb Draft Rights to Dillon Brooks
I accept. They've got too many players, and so will I, but I'm willing to bet that these guys will be worth more than where that 2020 pick lands. And, I need to start competing(ish) by 2020, so I'm good with letting my second round picks sit unsigned until the end of the season, then I'll make some decisions about which guys I think have futures in the NBA, and cut/trade accordingly.

Oops, I forgot about this. Sorry Brian Scalabrine! I accept this deal because I already have plenty of other talent right now so I might as well clear some roster space and prepare for the future a bit.

We'll see. Brooks definitely looks to have more potential than most second rounders right now, but rooks often do the thing where they look good for a stretch and then phase out of playing at all. Obviously I hope he's a god, though, and I think his play style works well for him to find a role in the NBA.

It's interesting to follow the trajectory of rebuilding teams. NOP and BKN started as trash, but now they're both playoff teams. I'm hoping for a playoff run in 2020, which I think is possible if we can keep our 1st round this year and draft well the next two years. It'll be easier if Parker comes back strong. But outside of him, I think I already have some guys with starter floors on the team, we'll just need to see how quickly they grow.

If fultz pans out and KCP stays around where he is, i think I can start being a playoff teams around 21,22
