KD leads the league in points and PER and estimated wins added, top 5 in rebounds and minutes played. Lots of good candidates, but it's an easy choice here.
Edit: Estimated wins added, not win shares.

KD leads the league in points and PER and win shares, top 5 in rebounds and minutes played. Lots of good candidates, but it's an easy choice here. CP3 is 7th in points, 1st in assists, 2nd in steals, 1st in minutes (KD is 2nd), 10th in PER and 5th in EWA.

CP3 covers a wider range of things, but the stats he's at the top in aren't as impressive as the ones KD is winning (PER and EWA are much better estimates of a player's value to his team than simply contributing heavily across multiple stats).

It's easier to get a higher PER as a forward, CP3 somehow manages to have a top 10 PER as a 6 foot guard :D. and I think assists are = to points, and steals are even better!

Yeah, I suppose that's fair. Without seeing their full stat lines so far, it's really difficult just to compare based on how far they get up each list of stats they're doing well in.
Like 27 pts/9 rebs is better than/equal to 21 pts/9 asts, but KD is probably more like 27 pts/9 rebs/5-6 asts, which is way better than 21 pts/9 asts/3-5? rebs.
Also, Tony Parker, Klay, and Damian Lillard come out higher in PER than CP3. Honestly, if I were to vote for a PG, I could just as easily make a case Lillard, whose stat line of 21pts/6.2 asts/1.8 stls falls just .4 pts, 2.5 asts, .2 sts, and .5 EWA short behind Paul, while being much farther ahead in PER - 25.2 vs 23.7 - and doing it in way less minutes (at least ~4 less mpg than CP3).
If CP3 was head and shoulders above every Guard that's in the running here, I would probably agree with you that he's deserving of the award, but I don't think he quite distinguishes himself from the pack the way that Durant does.

Also, why the heck is Avery Bradley, a guy who has only ever broken 40% from 3Pt range when taking less than 60 total 3s in a season, leading the league in 3-pt percentage at 48.2%?!
That 3-Pt Percentage list is whack, yo.

We may project to be a mediocre playoff team, but KD will get that MVP award.
