Here's how I'm looking at this trade. First of all, I'm in so much debt that I don't want to be stuck with Nick Young in those second, third, years of his contract, so I'm glad he'll be gone. Anyway, Enes gives me a scoring big man to play off the bench which solidifies my frontcourt rotation as really solid, two great defenders and two great scorers. Having Shumpert gives me a lot of flexibility. I could put him in the starting lineup as a PG, SG, or SF. That means I can have Augustin run the second unit, which he might be better at, or I can trade Galinari and know that I'll have a solid guy to plug in the starting lineup. Also, I could use the perimiter defense. The picks aren't worth a lot to me since I want to clear space for the offseason I don't want those rookie contracts eating into that anyway. Basically, this trade makes me a lot deeper.

I accept, I have waiters so shumpert was expendable. Nick young can back up Harris and i get another late first. Kanter is not in my future plans for the bulls organizotian anyway

You realize you will need to clear cap space to resign Kanter and Shumpert this offseason, they will be restricted free agents, but you will need cap space to sign them. Kanter will probably get close to the max deal, and shumpert will command quite a bit as well.

I do realize that, Billy. I see it more as a win now, clear future cap space move. I'm not counting on being able to get them back, I'm counting on being able to move Gallo so I can sign a FA to a max.

I don't love the trade for either of you, but it's not really bad enough to reject.
Chicago has too many RFAs and not enough cap space to sign them all to the salaries that they'll command - Toronto has the same problem but acknowledges that he won't be able to hold on to either and that the move is a push for depth as part of a championship run. If Brian can find a trade for Gallinari before the deadline, he should easily have enough room to sign at least one of them, so it's not a complete loan.
Pure value standpoint: I would say Chicago is losing. But in context, Paul was going to struggle to re-sign them both anyway, plus Exum and the picks he's acquiring fit perfectly into his plan to tank.
I accept.

accept. brian seems to have a plan to make additional moves and if he were to resign even one of these guys. it would be worth it for him since exum blows...swaggy p blows...and those picks will blow.

For now this trade is very favorable to Brian.. He is at the top of the standings todate and adding Kanter and Shumpert makes them more formidable however after this season I think He will struggle on keeping them to the team.. so for the long run this will benefit Paul.. Exum is a very talented Kid forget Nick Young... This trade isn't rejectable so I accept as well..
