Here's how I see this trade:
Pekovic = Baynes and 2015 1st round pick
Prigioni and Calderon (salary dump) and 2 second round picks = Hinrich
edited: I mean 2 2nd round picks instead of 2 1st round picks. lol

Dude you don't need to do that if you want to emphasize something. You're acting as if those picks have too much value. Steve Jobs

All joking about the typo aside... Guys, come on. This still isn't a good trade. Calderon and Hinrich are worth virtually the exact same thing - I honestly have no idea why they aren't rated the exact same thing and would genuinely say that Calderon should probably be rated higher if nothing else: Calderon is much better on offense, shooting higher percentages across the board, and picks up more assists and rebounds. Hinrich is better on defense by a good margin, but his short comings on offense could easily negate that factor. Calderon=Hinrich. Simple.
Pek... honestly, even if the pick is a late one, I'm not sure Pek is equal to a 1st round pick by itself. Can't stay healthy (65 games is the max in his career, and it wasn't the lockout season), He's a turnstile on defense, decent-at-best on offense (shot 42.4% FG, as a CENTER, last season).
If Drake offered Calderon, 2015 1st, and 2016 2nd for Pek and Hinrich, Tony shouldn't feel unlucky to have gotten such a good return on the two players. The fact that 3 picks and 4 players are being thrown at him, even if the players and picks are rubbish and Drake is executing some crazy salary dump (he's not... adding almost $4M to his 15-16 team salary), is crazy when the players on the other end are aging, injury prone, and worth "not very much" at best.
I reject but I think it's already too little too late.
edit: wrong year on 2nd round pick 2ndedit: couldn't make a coherent closing statement if my life depended on it.

What I was doing was emphasizing your typo in saying "two first round picks" instead of "two second round picks." HUGE difference there, no? (rofl)

I reject.
I feel that this is entirely too much to give up for Pekovic given his in game contract and his RL situation. He was never a top 10 big man in the league and his skill is declining. He is often injured. He has a large contract that is long term and has no options. It just isn't a good situation for Pek and he is not worth it.
If anything, the GSW should be giving up a pick to get rid of the guy. He is a defensive sieve and is always hurt. He now has 2 better bigs in front of him in KAT and Dieng.

Alright. the vote is tied.
3 accepts 3 rejects
All GMs get a chance to vote for the next 24 hours. If it is still tied, then the trade passes.

I reject. Way too much is being given up for Pekovic in my opinion, there's no reason for this trade not to happen when the picks (or at least the first rounder) are taken out, though.

I vote to reject. It seems crazy to me, I think might be the first place where Pekovic and his contract wasnt considered a toxic asset!

Calderon in my opinion is better than hinrich which makes this trade even worse. Pekovic is a liability on defense and can not stay healthy. he is not worth 12 million a year and no one should get a first round pick for him. I reject

I have been really busy lately and just updated myself on this trade. Initially, it does not look that bad because Pek is only 29 and averages 13 and 7 a game. I would reject it for sure with a 2017 1st because there is no way to project how the Spurs will do in a few years. With just the 2015 1st, however, I am inclined to accept it because Pek constitutes a solid bench player; I mean he's almost rated as high as my team's highest rated player. Is there a hard cap in this league? If not, San Antonio looks like one those teams that will make other GMs demand a hard cap.
Against this backdrop, San Antonio never really convinced me that this trade helps his team. Someone else pointed out that Pek will be his 4th best big man, and I think he could get more than that for a 1st round pick. Honestly, I don't think this trade is bad enough to reject but I would like to see more conviction out of the Spurs. Therefore, I am going to reject unless San Antonio provides more rational for this trade. Then again, I don't think it matters because most GMs seem dead set on rejecting this deal.
