He should have shopped him around more, I think everyone agrees. Where you and I disagree is that 5 isn't close to what oladipo is worth. He had a crazy good year but he has only done it for one year. I don't think it warrants a reject Man its funny how you guys assume, Just because ypu guys think i can get more doesnt mean its what i need for my team i have looked at other offers for Oladipo and even had one almost posted before this one. I do my homework and even before accepting this trade took a little thinking over but ultimately decide we have enough Guards to be able to do it and still have other assets to continue maneuvering. Im making a team not just a good starting lineup. LOL. So you fielded two offers for Oladipo? I'm not assuming anything, I know you didn't do your due diligence because multiple people have agreed you should have been seeking more, multiple people have confirmed they would have offered more, and at the end of the day, the best team's in the league lose trades rarely if ever... why on earth do you and Nick feel so compelled to battle against GMs like me telling you that you could be getting more in your trades? Listening to that advice can't do anything but help you make your team better. Demand more! Sit on your assets if you have to. Losing trades isn't a pre-requisite to pursuing a vision for your team. I've waited MONTHS to get an offer I thought was decent value out of a crappy back up point guard even though having the salary on my roster could have diminished my odds at landing a free agent... you accepted a sub-market value deal for your 2nd best player within days and probably have no idea what 75%+ of the league's GMs would have offered you for Oladipo if you'd reached out. And your return is what... a shot at JJJ or Bamba? A Hail Mary on Trae Young? Lots of talent in this draft, but any lottery player has high enough bust odds that trading a bona fide first-option, All-Star caliber player without asking for extra value on top as insurance against the bust is rejectable in my eyes.

Lol again assuming its been more then 2 offers for Odalipo, i said i almost accepted another one which was for 7th pick Because you guys dont have our teams and dont know what we are doing. You guys just see names not a plan..... You guys can think we are messing up thats for time to tell not for you guys. Lol trae young lol wow why would i pick him when i have shit ton of guards Stop trying to figure me out amd just wait till my finished product. When we win more games then last years team what will you say then " still didnt get enpugh value for odalipo" so if we are a better team does that matter?

You guys focus on your team im working on mine, done arguing with you guys when 1. My team isnt finished 2. We havent even played a single game yet 3. We have a plan and are stucking to it. Every trade has to be voted on, the vote is league wide. You can't say "focus on your team" because it's literally part of the rules of this league to discuss and seek to protect teams making moves that anybody deems to be potentially harmful to league parity. As for your plan... lets hear it. PM me, I'll promise not to divulge the details to any other GMS, or to use any of the details against you or for my own gain. If the plan is convincing I'll change my vote and we can get this over with now at 5 accepts. If not I'll hold my vote and we can see if anyone else comes along to accept it. Ultimately, if you're tired of defending yourself, it's probably because you've made enough bad moves to attract people's attention. If you were winning, or even mutually benefitting all parties with every trade as you pursued your goal, no one would say a word.

This is my first vote, and while I can’t say I’d personally do this deal if I were GSW owner, I’m gonna accept for the sake of parity within the Eastern conference. Not only that, but GSW still have Curry and KAT as their building blocks, and they just cleared up around 40m in salary to go out and get better fitting pieces this summer. I get the risk in trading a proven all star for a draft pick, but I also get the logic. This trade has the potential to become a total wash in a few years though.

Im making a team not just a good starting lineup. The Bucks GM said that he would have offered you #4 plus more for olapido. All I'm saying is that you could have seen if the people with picks 1-4 wanted olapido. Should have been a little more patient. I accepted this deal because I sort of understand your plan and I think the top 5 in this class are sweet. Just saying you should have waited maybe after the irl draft and see what you could have gotten

I think it’s a little iffy and I probably would have entertained the notion of trading 3 for Dipo, but I don’t think it’s bad enough to be rejectable. This draft class is pretty loaded so even if I don’t agree with it, I think I can understand the GSW thought process here. He believes he has enough guards to trade Dipo take a home run swing at another star in this draft that would fill one of his team’s needs.
Accept.

Yea. Going through stuff now. Normally I don't do the trade processing, but things are getting messy between this and the draft and I want to clean it up.
